We present the Catalan folk song «El testament de n'Amèlia» («Amelia's will»), arranged for Baroque Ensemble (Trumpoet, Recorder, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Lautenwerck), in form of a micro-fugue in four parts. Each entry shows up a major third higher then the preceding, so that, after four entries, the tonality goes back to the initial value (D, in this case).
Tuning is Rameau Tempérament Ordinaire, generated by 8 meantone fifths (as large as 697 ¢) and 4 sharp fifths (as large as 706 ¢).
